Let's Keep it Real

There’s a lot of noise out there right now. As someone who’s had the privilege of serving on the council and being involved in Pelham’s community for decades, I want to take a moment to talk about something that matters deeply to me: telling the truth.
Campaign season brings out a lot of promises and bold claims. That’s expected. But what’s frustrating is when misinformation starts to replace facts…and when good people, especially those who aren’t used to the political world, end up being misled. I recently found out that a current councilman told a young local business owner that he and I were friends, just to convince him to do a campaign video. That’s not true. We’re not friends, and that kind of dishonesty crosses a line. It’s disappointing to see people use others to boost their own image, especially when it involves bending the truth to do it.
I’m not here to attack anyone. But I am here to be honest with you. Voters in Pelham deserve the truth—not half-truths, not political games. Just straight talk about where we are, what’s been done, and what still needs doing.
I encourage you: ask questions. Don’t take campaign soundbites at face value. Look at voting records, ask for sources, and check the facts. The future of Pelham is too important to be built on shaky ground.
I’m proud to run a campaign based on honesty. I’ve been doing the work, and I’ll continue to do the work, with or without a title, because this city means everything to me.
Let’s continue the progress. Together, and with integrity.
